    "
Hello, I’m interested in the manifesto, I live in Colombia and being a third world country there is too little people who worry about the planet’s situation right now due to social problems (poverty, unemployment, hunger), but I was wondering if I could make this change by introducing people in universities and schools to think in green, the sole fact that they think about green and have the criteria to compare and choose what would be better for nature could make a big difference in a country where there’s too little talking about green lifestyles, too little universities teach about ecological solutions, but introducing it to design students as fundamental criteria when they have to create something could change the way they conceive designs, also, introducing students of social areas (anthropology, sociology etc. etc.) to green thinking would help us find solutions to social problems where the ecological part would be what it makes it more viable than common solutions (example: solar kitchens for the poor that live in small villages in the mountains and have no access to power). I know I’m only a student but if you accept my firm in the manifesto it would be motivating to continue my studies in a greener life and to promote greener thinking among my fellow design students, thanks."
